Quiet Hours
Book your free tickets during our Quiet Hours to explore our Christmas Tree Festival. In 2024, it is bigger and better than ever, with 150 trees!
The Christmas Tree Festival is extremely popular and at busy times such as weekends and school holidays can be quite crowded and noisy. This year we will be opening our doors an hour early on Saturday mornings (see below) and Monday 23rd December for a more relaxed, less busy, and quieter atmosphere. We will have limited tickets to ensure a less-crowded environment, and fewer stimuli.
During these times there will be no rehearsals or music and the Cathedral will be closed for general visiting, so you will be able to explore the Festival in a relaxed setting and at your own pace. You will also be able to explore the Cathedral during this time, if you wish.
These mornings will also be suitable for visitors with accessibility and/or mobility needs, those who are visually impaired, those with sensory needs, and those with additional needs who would prefer more space/time.
Please note that other than assistance dogs, no other dogs will be permitted.
This event is open to children and adults - please indicate numbers when ordering your tickets.
Times and dates:
Saturday 7 December | 9.10-10am
Saturday 14 December | 9.10-10am
Saturday 21 December | 9.10-10am
