View Christ in Majesty | Summer 2023

‘Christ in Majesty’ is an enormous medieval sculpture in what was once the monks’ refectory, now College Hall, and not often open to the general public. It is one of the most important pieces of medieval sculpture in the country. It suffered damage at the Reformation and other times, and there is still much that we do not know about it. It has recently been conserved, which has taught us much more about its history. Join us this summer and take this rare opportunity to view it and find out more.
